We're Chawan (left) and Lynn (right) . We grew up in Washington, D.C. and we have been best friends since we were 5 and 6 years old, so we consider each other sisters because the word 'friend' doesn't do our relationship justice.

So What's in a name? We grew up together in a housing development in DC called Paradise and we lived in "third court"... it's our home and forever in our heart.

Chawan (left): I'm a single mom of a 19 yr old son in college. I contract for the Federal Government as a Space Planner/Project Manager in Washington, DC. I’m also a Converse (Chuck Taylor) addict, French Macaroon connoisseur and a serious Foodie. 

After encouragement from a very close friend I started a new hobby that lead to an independent  banana pudding & sweets co 'Don’t Be Shy'... My signature dish and fan favorite is the “Baby Got Cinna Buns” banana pudding. (Lynn serves as VP of @dont.be.shy.sweets)

Lynn (right): I'm a married mom of three girls; one in college, one in daycare and one in elementary (got every age range covered). I am a Compliance Data Analyst in Durham, North Carolina.  I have always wanted to blog, but lost my courage a few years ago... so this time I am taking my sister along for the ride. I love all things Target, Homegoods and stripes.
